Disconnected

I have been listening to a lot of Stiv Bators lately: dead boys, lords of the new church, and his solo albums so I decided to purchase the Disconnected LP, so happy I did; It sounds so good on vinyl! I connected proper speakers to my little record player and it made a world of difference, just in time to spin this album. I got it on clear vinyl I was sort of hoping for the purple one but clear sure does look nice when it's spinning.

RIP Johnny

Played my LAMF LP all day to honor Johnny Thunders who passed away today 23 years ago.  Rest in peace, Johnny.

Gay Halloween Pins/Badges

Last week I received I wonderful package from Nick, owner of gayhalloween.etsy.com. He makes some seriously fantastic pins/badges, he contacted me for a trade for some of my patches and I was thrilled. He also surprised me and gave me extra pins. I asked for the three pink pins - The Trashwomen, Johnny Thunders, and The Cramps, the rest were a total surprise. Thank you Nick, if you're reading this!

These are all oversized pins which are my favorite kind lately. I immediately stuck The Trashwomen pin on a leopard print cardigan. There are so many great designs to choose from, I can't wait to get more!
